Jahn, Vilém. Conductor of the Estates Theatre. Prager Morgenpost 31/8/1863 reported: ‘Serenade. The evening of the day before yesterday a numerous croud surrounded a house in Wassergasse, allured by the sounds of music and song. The members of the [Estates] Theatre band and of the chorus brought for the wife of our able Theatre Kapellmeister, Mr Jahn, for her nameday a Serenade.’
