Neukirchner, Václav (1805-1889). Czech bassoonist and composer. Pupil of the Prague Conseratory (1819-1825) and until 1829 member of the Estates Theatre orchestra. From 1829 bassoonist in the court orchestra in Stuttgart. Composed many works for his instrument.
