Franz Wilhelm Abt

Abt, Franz Wilhelm (1819-1885). German  composer and conductor. Educated in music in Leipzig at St Thomas church and at the University. Later held conducting positions in Bernburg, Zürich and Brunswick. Composer of many songs, partsongs and choruses.
