Name: Fund for ill Prague Typographers
Commentary:Typographia. Prague Society for the support of ill printing workers. Prager Morgenpost 3/2/1862 reported that this fund then amounted to a capital sum of 2000fl. A later account published by Prager Morgenpost 21/4/1863 of the Society’s annual general meeting related that the society then had assets of 1842fl 76kr in securities and bullion, the gross income of the society amounted to (between 29th March 1862 to 22nd March 1863), 2750fl 88kr, and the outgoings totalled 908fl 12kr. This supported 39 ill members for 157 weeks. The society then numbered 247 members.’
