Although this event was described by the Dalibor 28/10/1858 report as the third ‘Musical Garland’ [Vínek hudební / musikalisches Kränzchen], no information referring to this event as taking place on 25 October appears in any other source. The next of the ‘Musical Garlands’, the dates of which were first published in both Prager Zeitung and Bohemia 10/10/1858, was given on Sunday 30 October. Therefore we might suppose that the occasion noted by Dalibor 28/10/1858, which the periodical also reported as including a performance by the blind pianist J. Nejedlý, carried an erroneous date. Nejedlý, a pianoforte pupil of Bedřich Šimák, did appear in the subsequent ‘musical garlands’ on 30/10/1858.
