An announcement of this event appeared in the Lokalzeitung of Bohemia 3/7/1851. This reported that following his successful earlier performances in Prague Rudersdorff would give a final concert in the [Estates] Theatre on 4th July, which would be accompanied by a full orchestra. The programme would contain the opening movement of Bériot’s third Concerto, an Étude by Rudersdorff himself and Ernst’s Karneval von Venedig with a combination of variations by Ernst and by Rudersdorff himself.

The Tagesanzeiger text published by Bohemia 4/7/1851 related that on Friday 4th July ‘Evening in the Theatre: “Die schöne Müllerin”, thereupon “Ein Arzt.” Mr Elmenreich from the Hoftheater in Schwerin as a guest. Before the first and second pieces: Concert of Mr Rudersdorff.’
