Josef Nesvadba
Neswadba Hamáček
Nesvadba, Josef (1822-1876). Czech composer and conductor. Artist name Nesvadba or Neswadba, family name Hamáček. Conductor at various Czech provincial theatres and then in Graz until 1857 when for two years he became principal conductor of the Estates Theatre in Prague. Tagesbote aus Böhmen announced on 9/4/1857 his appointment from his position as Kapellmeister in the city Theatre in Graz. The following day Tagesbote aus Böhmen reported his arrival in Prague. In 1859 Nesvadba left Prague for a succession of posts in Berlin, Dresden, Hamberg and Darmstadt.
