Wenzel Horejschek Horeyssek
Horejšek, Václav (1839-1874). Czech composer, choral conductor and music teacher. Studied at the Prague Organ School (1856-1858) and was a pupil of Müller’s Piano Institute. Followed a career as a provincial church musician but constantly active in nationally orientated Czech musical circles. His most important compositions were his vernacular songs and choruses, but he also wrote for the piano.
