Commentary:

Prager Morgenpost 27/7/1862 reported that ‘The annual song- and pianoforte-examinations of the Žofín Academy will take place on 29th and 30th July from 9am until 12 and from 3pm until 6pm in the Institute’s locale in Kuhlmann’s house. Admission is free. The new course [of the Žofín Academy] begins on 15th August, on this and the following days will pupils be accepted.’ The same news in an almost identical wording was published by Prager Zeitung 27/7/1862.
