According to the Národní listy 19/1/1862 report this entertainment was to have taken place on 5/2/1862. The unsigned Dalibor 20/2/1862 review described in detail the decorations of the Žofín Hall but contained no mention of the music performed. The programme would have been made up of works performed at the musical trial that was held on 19/1/1862.

Bohemia 4/2/1862 reported that the ‘Národní beseda’ was postponed from 5th February until 10th February. ‘Národní beseda’ was quoted by the periodical in a Latin typeface rather than in German Fraktur. No coverage of this event appeared in the German-language newspaper Prager Morgenpost.
