Commentary:

The Národní listy 5/2/1861 report noted that the church was so full that many people could not get into the building. Of the private choir of J.L. Lukes, the report noted ‘The true ornament [okrasou] of the occasion was the sublime singing of the chorus under able direction.’ No details of the music performed at this service were published by this report. A notice for the event was also published in Národní listy 1/2/1861.
