At 4pm in the hall of the Karlín inn ‘At the Red Star’. The text noted ‘Today at 4 o’clock will in the hall of „At the Red Star‟ in Karlín a musical rehearsal to the besedas that will be on 15 and 30 January in benefit of Špachta’s endowment. Music personally led by by Mr Chrs junior.’ The event was also listed in the Tageskalender published by Bohemia 6/1/1861: ‘Sunday 6th January... Musical trial to the forthcoming Besedas, Military music ensemble.’
