The Vergnügungsanzeiger of Mercy’s Anzeiger 5/3/1857 reported ‘Today Thursday... Restaurant Burian (Smichow [Smíchov]): Quintet.’ In the same issue of the newspaper appeared a simple advertisement, reading: ‘Restaurant by Burian’s in Smichow [Smíchov]. Today Thursday 5th March Quintet.’ The text also drew attention to the beers available at the venue. No further details were given by these sources.
