The Vergnügungsanzeiger of Mercy’s Anzeiger 31/1/1857 announced that ‘Today Saturday... Hotel de Saxe: musical Garland [musik. Kränzchen].’ This same issue of the newspaper included an advertisement relating: ‘Hotel de Saxe. Today Saturday takes place a Music-Garland [Musik-Kränzchen], at which a favourite vocal-quartet will perform the newest pieces.’ No further details were given by the source.
