This related that last Tuesday for the celebration of the birthday of Her Royal Highness the Archduchess Sophie [Žofie] there was given in St Clement’s Church a high mass including a performance of the new Mass in C major by J. Holub, choir director at St Galli [Sv Havel]. The work was praised, being considered worthy in conception and constituting an important contribution to the genre.
