Der Tagesbote 23/11/1854 reported that ‘Next Monday Mr Feigert arranges his last Dance Reunion in the Konvikt Hall celebrating the Festival of St Catherine. During the interval [‘Raststunde’ - lit. ‘rest hour’] he is arranging an Intermezzo: “Alle Kätchen zu Gefallen”.’ The description of ‘his last Dance Reunion’ indicates that the event was evidently the last in a series of such entertainments arranged by Feigert. An almost identical report appeared in the newspaper Mercy’s Anzeiger on 22/11/1854.
Mercy’s Anzeiger 26/11/1854 published an advertisement posted by Feigert announcing this event. The source reported ‘Friedrich Feigert’s last Festival-Reunion in this year before Advent takes place on Monday 27th November 1854 for the Catherine-Festival in the Konvikt Hall. For the interval an Intermezzo: Allen Kätchen zu Gefallen.’ The source also announced that dance lessons ‘in all modern chamber-dances [Kammertänzen], especially in the „Mazur-Quadrille“ and the Contredanse „La Madrilene“’ were given by Feigert each Sunday at 5pm. The advertisement was repeated in the newspaper on 27/11/1854.
The Vergnügungsanzeiger of Mercy’s Anzeiger 27/11/1854 recorded ‘Today Monday... In the Konvikts Hall: Feigert’s Dance-reunion’
