Der Tagesbote 13/9/1854 reported that ‘Music Director Jos. Krejčí will perform on the 14th September at 10am in the Church of the Knights of the Cross his ‘erste kurze Festmesse’ in F major, op.18.’ Also to be given would be a Graduale in F major op.19 by Krejčí that was noted to have been published by Joh. Hoffmann, and the same composer’s Offertorium in E major that was described as currently going to press. Mercy’s Anzeiger 13/9/1854 also reported that ‘The Music Director Mr Jos. Krejčí presents for performance on 14th September at 10am in the Church of the Knights of the Cross his „1. Festival Mass“ in F major Op.18. The two interpolations are also by the same composer: namely those issued by the publishing house of Joh. Hoffmann the Graduale in F major Op.19 and the Offertorium in C major Op.13’. The correct key of this work, which appears in the catalogue of works held in the Archive of the Prague Conservatory, was C major and not E major.

Of these aforementioned compositions the Graduale has just been published by Jan Hoffmann and the others will find themselves in print soon.’
