Der Tagesbote 7/5/1854 published news that on ‘Tuesday 9th May takes place in the Arboretum of the Royal Estates a great musical production in the wake of celebrations for the royal wedding.’ Mercy’s Anzeiger 9/5/1854 reported that ‘In the Royal Estates Arboretum will today (9th May), for the Wake of the most high Wedding [of the Emperor] take place a great musical production at 6.30pm, at which a great Huldingungspotpourri [Hommage Potpourri] ... will be performed.’
