Commentary:
News of the intention of Feigert to arrange ‘[dance-]reunion’ to take place on 3rd March was published by Bohemia 2/3/1851. Previous reunions arranged by him during the carnival season were noted to have been a great success. At the forthcoming event he was to arrange ‘as in previous years ... a comic dance-divertissement under the title “Champagner und immer Champagner, oder Die letzten Augenblicke des Monsieurs Karneval”, in which Mr Feigert would perform a humorous Pas de deux a la Grahn.’ Grahn was a visiting dancer who had appeared at the Estates Theatre earlier in the season.
