Commentary:

News of Feigert’s intention to arrange a series of Carnival dance-reunions ‘which hitherto have been a great popular delight’, was published in a report in the newspaper Bohemia 12/1/1851. The text noted that they were to take place in the ‘elegant and tastefully renovated Konvikt Hall.’ The dates of all six reunions, occurring weekly, were specified.

The Tagesanzeiger text of Bohemia 19/1/1851 reported the date and venue of the first of these dance entertainments.
