Commentary:

Bohemia 10/1/1851 published a notice undersigned ‘Von der Direktion der Loczer ungarischen Musikgesellschaft’ and dated 10th January at the Hotel zum goldenen Engel [At the golden Angel]. This announced that the sixth and seventh evening entertainments to be given by the Lőcze ensemble under the personal leadership of its Kapellmeister Johann Kálozdy would take place on Saturday and Sunday 11th and 12th January. The events were noted to be taking place as before in the Žofín Hall.
