The Tagesanzeiger daily almanac of Prague social and musical events published by Prager Morgenpost 10/12/1863 noted: ‘Hotel de Saxe: Petschauer Music ensemble.’ The same issue of this newspaper also published an advertisement announcing: ‘Hotel de Saxe. Today Thursday Petschauer Music Society. Commencing 8 o’clock.’
