Commentary:

An advertisement for this event was published by Prager Morgenpost 13/5/1863. The notice announced: ‘Today and each following Wednesday plays Karl Komzák with his Concert-Orchestra in the locality of Mr J.M. Schary. Commencing after 7pm. Admission 10kr. In unfavourable weather [taking place] in the salon.’ The largest lettering in the body of this advertisement was give to the name Karl Komzák, indicative of the popular attraction at this time of the Prague band-master.
