Commentary:

Prager Morgenpost 24/4/1863 published news of this event, reporting: ‘Concert postponement. The concert previously arranged for the 25th April by Mr J. Knotek on a large sixteen-register Salon-Organ-Harmonium is due to unforeseen circumstances rearranged for 9th May in the Žofín Island Hall, with tickets previously issued retaining their validity.’

This concert was again postponed, initially to 18/5/1863 and then again. Prager Morgenpost 8/5/1863 reported the postponement to 18/5/1863 when the concert was to be taking place in the Žofín Island Hall at 5pm. Among the participants was to have been Miss Pollak who was said to be making her debut.

On 18/5/1863 the German-language newspaper Bohemia reported that is oft-postponed concert was again being postponed.
