Prager Morgenpost 21/4/1863 reported: ‘Requiem. Wednesday 22nd April will take place at 10am in the chapel house of the Institute for the Accommodation and Emplyment of the Adult Blind a memorial requiem service for His Excellency Karl Alwin Gabriel Count von Rohan and his noble family members.’ No further details of this event were given by the source. This was an annual event given by the Institute. The musical content of the occasion – about which nothing is mentioned by Prager Morgenpost – would have been performed by members of the Institute.
