News of this event was published by Prager Morgenpost 12/4/1863, announcing: ‘Frühlingsfest. Today the Insel Groß-Venedig (formerly Hetz-Insel) [Štvanice] will be opened with a Spring Festival [Frühlings-Feste]. At this will be a production by the regimental musical ensemble of the Royal Infantry Regiment of Count Gyulai, and of the favourite contortionist [Kautschukmann] Mr Arlotte with the juggler Mr Gioliom.’ An advertisement for this event was also published in the same issue of Prager Morgenpost:
