Národní listy 11/2/1863 published a similar advertisement in Czech: ‘Konvikt Hall. Today is arranged the penultimate dance entertainment of F. Feigert and masked procession. Commencing at 8 o’clock.’ The source also noted that those attending who wished to participate in the masked procession could use the cloakroom facilities for a very cheap price. An identical advertisement had been published on the same day a week previously by Národní listy 4/2/1863. The specification of ‘penultimate’ was almost certainly a detail not corrected from the earlier Národní listy source; the final day of the 1863 Carnival season during which such dance events took place was 12/2/1863.
