Advance news of this event was published by Prager Morgenpost 27/2/1863. The source reported: ‘Concert. Sunday 1st March this year at 4.30pm Mr Josef Knotek with his pupil Eduard Gerstberger arranges in the Žofín Island Hall a concert, from which half of the net profit will be dedicated to the Girl’s Orphanage of the noble St Nothburg Ladies Society [St Nothburg-Frauen-Vereines].’ The same information appeared in the Czech-language in a report published in the section of daily news of Národní listy 28/2/1863.
