This work cannot be identified. Sources referring to the composition within the context of the same event, Bohemia 14/11/1850 and 17/11/1850 both reported that the piece was in A major. From Vieuxtemps extant output this may be his Concerto no.3 in A minor composed in 1844. However, the second Bohemia text specificaly described the concerto as ‘new’. No A major concerto exists in the composer’s output.
