Litoměřice Inn. Prague inn, venue for social musical entertainments. The venue’s name derived from its sale of Litoměřice beer. According to Národní listy 21/12/1862 the inn opened on Thursday 18/12/1862 and was located in the former Count Dejmovsky’s house (at the Golden Barrel) nr.126-2 in Nikolandská ulice in the New Town quarter. ‘The spacious venue is very neatly arranged and excellently lit’. Various types of Litoměřice beer were available to patrons. According to an advertisement appearing in Prager Morgenpost 3/5/1863 a garden restaurant was to be opened at this venue on 7th May 1863 in which lunch was available and where a military music ensemble performed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The proprietor of the venue was at that time one Friedrich Kunz.See also:
