Čeněk Vinař
Vinař, Čeněk (1835-1872). Czech composer, organist, conductor and teacher. Studied at the Prague Organ School, graduating in 1856. He passed the next six years in Zagreb where he was a teacher in the local musical institute and a choral director. Returned to Prague in 1862 to become musical director of Sokol. He also founded his own private music teaching instiute. Composed works in various genres ranging from dance compositions to sacred music to a Czech opera Husitská žena.
