Johann Antonin Kozeluch

Jan Evangelista Antonín Tomáš Koželuh Koscheluch

Kozeluch, Johann Antonin (1738-1814). Bohemian composer. Studied music in Velvary, active as a chorister in Rakovnk and in Prague. Lived and studied in Vienna c.1763 to 1766 whereupon he returned to Prague, engaged as a music teacher and church Kapellmeister. As a composer his output includes a considerable number of works for the church which remained in performance for long after his death.
