Salomon Jadassohn

Jadassohn, Salomon (1831-1902). German composer and teacher, born in Breslau and studied at the Leipzig Conservatory, later teaching piano and composition there. Highly influential and important as a teacher. As a composer he wrote many works encompassing most nineteenth-century musical genres.
