Josef Strebinger
Strebinger, Josef. Composer and military music director. Active in Prague particularly during the early 1860s as Kapellmeister of the 33rd Infantry Regiment of Count Gyulai. Prague Morgenpost 30/5/1863 reported that he had just donated a valuable flügelhorn by Packsong to the Society for the Cultivation of Military Music. In 1863 he was made an honorary member of that Society.
