Knahl, Johann. Unidentified composer, identified by Der Tagesbote 22/12/1854 as Johann Knahl and by Mercy’s Anzeiger 22/12/1854 as Mr Krahl, chorister of the Royal Estates Theatre. Fifth prize winner in competition for dance compositions for the 1855 Carnival. His name was more likely Knahl that Krahl, although the latter in its Czech form of Král may be possible.
