Name: Piano Institute of Julius Theodor Höger
Commentary:Höger’s Piano Institute was located on the corner of Můstek and Ovocná ulice. Opened on 10/10/1858, its school year ran from early September until July and culminated in performance examinations open to the public. According to a report published in Dalibor 21/10/1858 announcing the opening of this Institute, teaching was according to the method of Proksch. This was later confirmed by the same periodical in a further report published on 20/8/1860.
