Mercy’s Anzeiger 11/2/1857 reported that next Monday 16th February the ‘third reunion would take place at the Civic-Society [Měšťanská beseda / Bürgerressource]. During the interval ‘pieces for orchestra would be given, with solo performances, song-pieces and declamations.’

A review, signed ‘§’, of this event was published by Mercy’s Anzeiger 18/2/1857. The correspondent commented largely upon the arrangement and decoration of the hall, which in ‘elegance and functionality’ was thought to have exceeded the two previous besedy. The decorations were noted to have been new and tasteful; the attendance was very numerous.
