A notice was published by Prager Morgenpost 17/10/1863 announcing a rehearsal for members of the German singing societies Aëde, Arion and Flöte: ‘„Aëde, Arion, Flöte.“ Sunday 18th October 2pm singing rehearsal in the locality of the German Gymnastic Society [Deutsche Turnverein].’ The rehearsal would have been for the Festival arranged by the Deutsche Turnverein on 19/10/1863 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Leipzig.
