Mercy’s Anzeiger 28/12/1854 reported that ‘On Sylvester evening [Sylvesterabende] will be given the musical trial to the [Dance-]reunions [Reunionen] of the Civil Shooters Corps [Bürger-Schützen-Corps].’ This would have been the Prague Civil Sharpshooters. The musical ensemble would most likely have been the Sharpshooters Orchestra. No further details were given by this source.
