Národní listy 22/10/1862 published a notice announcing: ‘National besedas [Národní besedy] 23rd and 30th October, 5th, 12th, 20th and 27th November 1862 all at 7.30. Admission tickets for gentlemen obtained in the national bookshop of Mr Petřík in the New Alley [Nový Alej] nr 117-II. [Signed] Committee.’ On 5/11/1862 the newspaper reported in its column of daily news that the ‘Third autumn beseda takes place today in the Konvikt Hall and will alternate dances with choral songs. Commencing at 7.30pm. Admission tickets for gentlemen obtained in the national bookshop of Mr Petřík in the New Alley [Nový Alej] nr 117-II.’

The programme varied in general content from the two previous events in this series in which the evening was divided into two parts, the first consisting of songs, choruses and even solo instrumental works, the second part of dances. The change may have been prompted by relatively poor attendances for the first two event.
