A large and elaborate advertisement for this event was published by Mercy’s Anzeiger 27/3/1857 and again on 28/3/1857. The main body of the advertisment announced: ‘Penultimate Garland [Kränzchen]. Konvikt Hall. Sunday 29th March the penultimate Garland and great musical Exercise of Bravura [‘Exercitium di Bravura’] under the title: Triumph of Music, in which the great Orchestra of the Sharpshooter’s Kapellmeister Mr K. Komsak [Komzák] will participate. For the first time: Concerto for Contre-Bass, performed by Mr Kozak. At 10 o’clock Humoristische Rundschau, great Potpourri by Canthal. Starting at 7 o’clock. Ending at 12 o’clock. Admission 12 kr. Advance tickets at 10 kr are available from the music shop of Robert Veit in the New Alley [Neue Allee] at [the building] ‘of Beethoven’ Nr.116.’ Written in a typeface turned through ninety degrees (reading up and down the page not left to right), in side panels to the advertisment was on the left ‘For the first time Double bass [Contrebass] Concerto of Mr Hozak’, and in the right panel ‘For the first time. Humoristiche Rundschau [Humorous Round], Potpourri by Canthal.’ This advertisment was published again in this newspaper on 29/3/1857. The Vergnügungsanzeiger of Mercy’s Anzeiger 29/3/1857 reported ‘Today Sunday:... Konvikt Hall: Garland.’ No further details were given by the source.

Mercy’s Anzeiger 29/3/1857 reported in its section of Daily News that ‘Today takes place in the Konvikt Hall the penultimate musical Garland. Kapellmeister K.
