A report, appearing in the day’s section of local news, noted that during the Lenten season the Kapellmeister Mr Krejčí was arranging Mass performances every Sunday at 9am in the Church of the Red Star [Sv František], in which would feature compositions by old Bohemian musicians [Compositionen von älteren böhmischen Tonkünstlern]. ‘For the 3rd Sunday in Lent is promised the Lenten Mass in D minor by Franz Tuma, the Graduale in C minor by M. Hayden [Haydn], the Offertorium in G minor by Fr. Brixi.’
