Café Lederer. Coffee house and venue for popular musical entertainment situated in the Old Town Square [Staroměstské náměstí / altstädter Ring]. Not the same venue as Lederer’s Beer Hall, which was located in Tuchmachergasse [current name Soukenická ulice, located between Josefov and Karlín]. The Café remained in the family Lederer for some time; in Prager Morgenpost 9/10/1863 a report referring to the Battle of Leipzig noted that among Prague veterans who would travel to Leipzig to attend the commemorations of the anniversary was ‘the former owner of the Café Lederer, Mr Lederer’.See also:
