Anton Nedwěd
Nedvěd, Antonín. Male singer. Teacher singer, teacher of song to the lower class (first year) of the Žofín Academy during the early 1850s. He wa later present in Laibach [Ljublana], becoming Director of the local Philharmonic Society there. Tagesbote aus Böhmen 27/9/1857 reported that ‘Mr A. Nedwěd [Nedvěd], Director of the Philharmonic Society in Laibach, has composed a vocal Mass, which will be performed today at 11 o’clock in the St James Church under the personal direction of the composer.’
