Alfred Jaëll

Jaell, Alfred (1832-1882). Austrian pianist and composer. Studied the piano in Vienna during the 1840s before embarking upon concert tours as a virtuoso in Europe and in America. Appointed court pianist at Hannover in 1856. Composed mainly for the piano.
