František Ladislav Čelakovský

Čelakovský, František Ladislav (1799-1852). Czech writer, patriot, poet and translator. Pioneering collector of Czech and Slavonic folk poetry and folksong. His own works were a prime inspirational source for native composers during the middle and late nineteenth century.
