Leopold Eugen Měchura

Měchura, Leopold Eugen (1804-1870). Czech composer. Lawyer and provincial magistrate. During the early 1820s pianist, composer and conductor for Prince Lobkowitz. In 1824 he moved to Klatový where he passed the rest of his life. His substantial output as a composer spanned all major genres of nineteenth-century music.
