Carl Heinrich Carsten

Reinecke, Carl Heinrich Carsten (1824-1910). German pianist, conductor and composer. Settled in Leipzig 1843 where he became conductor of Gewandhaus concerts. Professor of composition at Leipzig Conservatoire.
