Tagesbote aus Böhmen 13/2/1854 reported that ‘The next Court-Ball in the Apartments of His Majesty the Emperor Ferdinand has been announced for the 22nd.’
A brief review, referenced to Prager Zeitung, was published by Tagesbote aus Böhmen 24/2/1854. This reported that ‘In the royal Castle on Hradschin [Hradčany] again was a brilliant Court Ball.’ Attending were noted to be the Emperor Ferdinand and the Empress Maria Anna, the Archdukes Franz Karl, Leopold and Joseph, and their Royal Highnesses the Count and Countess von Chambord, in addition to various Civil and Military Authorities.
