Tagesbote aus Böhmen 27/1/1854 reported that ‘In the royal Castle on Hradschin [Hradčany], in the apartments of Het Majesty the Empress Maria Anna took place yesterday evening a brilliant Court Ball [Hofball] at which were present their Serene Highnesses the Archdukes Leopold and Joseph, their Royal Highnesses the Count and Countess von Chambord, the high nobility, and the highest civil and military authorities of Prague.’
